Jenny Cahill is Director of Bridge the Gap: Vorovoro and a homeschooling and worldschooling mom of 3 amazing and busy teenagers. She divides her time between her homes in Indianapolis, Indiana and Vorovoro Island, Fiji. Since first traveling to Vorovoro with her children in 2009, Jenny has dedicated her life to creating and facilitating cultural immersion experiences in partnership with the chiefly family of Vorovoro Island. Together with Tui Mali (Vorovoro’s chief) and his family, they welcome curious visitors into the Fijian community in ways that support education and development goals of the local community while maintaining the integrity of the native Fijian identity, traditions and land. She accomplishes this through her longstanding friendship and partnership with the local Fijian community, collaboratively facilitating experiences that share the real Fiji. Jenny is passionate about providing meaningful immersion experiences in ways that positively impact Fijians and visitors alike, with programs that promote curiosity, community and connection. When not working, she can be found reading books, pursuing hobbies, exercising, adventuring outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family.
