Accessible Family Travel

One super frustrating day in 2011 Chris and Jill dreamt that a homeschooling, backpacking life might be possible, even with five kids and a wheelchair. A year backpacking in Asia turned out to be just the beginning of a life-less-likely. They will be speaking about parenting by ruthless prioritization, pursuing long term travel as an intentional strategy for growing great kids, and the art of travelling in an inaccessible world. This is about logistics, wheelchair access and medical complications. But it is also about developing a flexible mindset, being learners not consumers, and always looking for the humanity and the humour that is beneath everything.
