Alisa from Living Outside The Box
Alisa’s travel adventures began when she met her husband while working as a Can-Can dancer in Alaska (yes, really). Together, they determined that they weren’t going to let life just pass them by, so they created a lifestyle that centered around their goals of growing a family, exploring the world, and feeding their never-ending passion for entrepreneurship. After living in Alaska seasonally for eight years, they lived as Expats in Mexico for two years and then embarked on full-time travel that took them to Central America, Europe, and Asia.
While change has always come easily for them, they shocked everyone (including themselves) when they determined that an American homebase was what they wanted, after all. Three years after repatriation, they’ve feel they’ve hit their stride—juggling five busy children, growing their home-based businesses, and still managing to escape on memorable international adventures.
