Rowena began her yoga journey in 2002. She was drawn to yoga as a means of finding balance and well-being, first in the midst of the noise and chaos of life in Bangladesh, then in the centre of raising and schooling her 3 young, energetic children. She deepened her own practice and opened herself to sharing the gift of yoga with others by studying Hatha Yoga with Kumari of the Centre Sivananda de l’Outaouais in 2015. She strives to bring a sense of calm and compassion to her classes and hopes that each student leaves with an uplifted spirit and a stronger, more supple mind and body. She enjoys teaching gentle Vinyasa (yoga flow) classes as well as Restorative Yoga.
