Biography

Shannon Faith is from Australia and has been teaching Drama and Theatre and creating community and professional performances, both as an actor and director, for the last 25 years.

She holds an Honours degree in Creative Arts (Theatre) and postgraduate Teaching qualifications as well as
TESOL certification and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Some highlights of her 25-year career include:
14 years as owner and Studio Director of TheatreMax Drama Studio; creating many wonderful productions including musical extravaganzas such as Peter Pan & Wendy, Man of Steel and Alice in Wonderland among others.

Shannon is an accomplished script writer who has been commissioned to create productions for community groups around such issues as pollution and bullying. She has worked with many community and school groups of various ages and nationalities to devise performances for cultural and arts festivals. Shannon also has extensive experience working with performers with special needs.

Theatre classes with Shannon concentrate on developing creativity while developing stage skills such as
improvisation, character development, movement, voice and storytelling, all the while building confidence and having fun!

Shannon is also a World Schooling mum of two teenage boys and loves exploring the world and learning about
different cultures.
